  1. there is very minor amount of people who choose English literature, it was very astonishing for me when i asked a famous institute to teach me English literature and they said we don't teach English literature because we are unable to get enough amount of people that can fulfill our teacher's salary requirements, then i noticed that on internet i can get past papers of every subject way more easily than English literature because there is no demand for it and finally i reached here and found some useful data.

  5. Asslam.o.alakum! I got through all the above comments and their replies. The main thing under focus was how to pass the examination of English literature[elective subject in BA PU]? Any useful notes/material or academy that can help tackle the syllabus.
Well, I would suggest two things. 1 Read the full texts of all the stories, plays and novel-if you feel it’s not easy for you, buy any guide book that contains Urdu translation of all these texts. 2]. Then read out the critical appreciation of the whole story/play, character sketches/analysis, major and minor themes, and other literary terms used in that particular literary piece. You can read all these things through internet-I’m sure these are available on NET. If you will have studied all the story etc. in the way I’ve mentioned, you’ll be able to solve any sort of question you get in your question paper INSHALLAH. This was the ultimate solution for the people who don’t hesitate from hard working.
And if you’re looking for any short cuts to get passing or good marks in the examination, keep in mind- there is no short cut for success. There is no alternative of hard work. Past papers, notes made by experts and model paper questions may help you in some an extent but if you really have studied in the way literature should be studied, no worldly power can stop you from getting good marks in the exam. One more thing- practice is the only tool that can open the success box :-]… Manage time and do practice of writing[write as same as you have on your screen and also do self-writing on conceptual basis] so that you’ll be able to write in your real exams.
    Hope you best of
    luck…
